San Juan del Sur

San Juan del Sur is a laid-back fishing village famed for its relaxed vibe and welcoming locals. The town is filled with choices for restaurants and bars, and the slower pace of life here makes it a great spot to spend an afternoon or evening enjoying the nightlife.  Shop for handmade Nicaraguan crafts in the market, load up on supplies—from the fruit and fish markets. Or enjoy the hike to The Christ of the Mercy, a colossal statue of Jesus that stands high above the town—it is worth the hike up to enjoy some of the best views of the town and bay. Take a ride on longest Zip Line in Cenrtal America at Da Flyin Frog with the kids, or journey south of town to experience the best horseback riding in the country at Big Sky Ranch. Book a deep-sea fishing trip along the coast, or for a lazier day, a sail on that catamaran. Though tiny, the town is bursting at the seams with enough activities to keep you busy for days.

Granada

Whether you are taking a day trip, or staying in one of our beautiful homes located in Granada, this colonial gem is situated on the shores of Lake Nicaragua. It’s the oldest city on the American continent and a 'must visit’ for any guest to Nicaragua. Architecture buffs in your group will revel at the strong Spanish and Moorish influences at every corner. Time stands still in this vibrant, cultural hub where the history is palpable, so explore the town on foot or by horse cart, indulge yourself in a visit to the chocolate factory, or take a boat tour and experience the nearby Isletas de Granada. This town is know for its resident art community—you never know what you may find here. For insight into one of Nicaragua's most important exports, take a drive up the winding, cloudy, forested road of Mombacho volcano which flanks the towns edge and visit a working coffee plantation.
